The
School motto is Fides Mundum Vincit, “faith overcomes the world”. The excellence,
which St. Bede’s School strives to achieve, is firmly rooted in this statement,
to which all the Governors and staff are committed. St. Bede’s School opened
in September 1961 as a Catholic Voluntary Aided School. Its purpose is to provide
secondary education for Catholic children in the parishes of Holy Souls, St.
Bernadette’s, St Mary’s and St Norbert’s.
