GCSE Religious Studies

In years 10 and 11 all students are allocated 2 hours a week and complete the GCSE in Religious Studies.

They take two exams, one at the end of year 10 and one at the end of year 11, each worth 50% of their total grade.

The Edexcel syllabus gives students the chance to explore key moral and ethical issues from their own perspective and the Christian standpoint as well as allow students to formulate arguments based on sound knowledge of Christian teaching.
