: Keeping control- Building castles.

Medieval Kings- Who was the best king?

: Henry II and ordeals.
: Murder of Thomas Becket.
: King Richard and King John comparison.
: Robin Hood history in film work.

Tudors

: Henry VIII and the Break from Rome.
: Henry VIII and his 6 wives.
: Edward VI.
: Did Mary deserve to be called Bloody Mary?
: Queen Elizabeth I.

 

Year 8


In year 8 pupils have History for 1 hour a week.

Black People of America

: Trade Triangle.
: The life of a slave- Slave Diary.
: Abolition of Slavery.
: Civil Rights Movement in the USA.

Industrial Revolution

: New Inventions.
: Factory Life.

WW1

: Causes of WW1.
: Trench Life.
: The Homefront and Propaganda Posters.
: The Battle of the Somme.
: The end of WW1.

Political Movements in the Twentieth Century

: Suffragettes.
: Suffragists.
: Emily Davidson Mystery.
: What are the values of the main parties in Britain?
: How have decisions in the past affected you in the present?
